Emma Krumbee's scarecrows are a sight for fall eyes. Since 1984, the scarecrows display has been turning heads and the good old country fun is the ultimate in rural festivities. The little ones quickly become footloose and fancy-free as they wander about the orchard "scarecrow gazing".

Saturday, September 16 through Sunday, October 29, 2006

Attraction Size:

Over 100 unique, handcrafted scarecrows are on display in Emma Krumbee's 45 acre Apple Orchard. The Great Pumpkin Patch produces countless numbers of pumpkins for picking each fall.

Admission:

Admission for the Great Scarecrow Display is $3.75 per person, children 2 and under are FREE. Daily admission includes: entrance to the Great Scarecrow Display, Emma's Petting Zoo, Tombstone Forest, All-Terrain Farm Trikes, Giddy-Up Tree, Hay Stack Jump and weekend entertainment.

Weekend Special Attractions:

  • Pony Rides and Camel Rides 10am - 6pm *
  • Children's Festival Games and Tipi Maze. 10am - 6pm *
  • Lyndon Peterson Band 11am - 5pm* Dance, sing and play along with the band *

     Open daily August 12– October 29, 2006
     10:00 am – 6:00 pm

U-Pick Apples
     Open daily September 12– October 29, 2006 (while supplies last)
     10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Scarecrow Display
     Open daily September 16– October 29, 2006
     10:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Emma Krumbee's Annual Great Scarecrow Festival was selected by the Minnesota Office of Tourism as one of the "Top Annual Group Tour Festivals and Friends" in Minnesota for 6 years.
